A Hamas delegation is expected in Cairo today for talks with Egyptian mediators regarding a new truce in the Gaza Strip, an Islamist Palestinian official told the French Agency. “We hope that the meeting will lead to real progress towards an agreement that will end war and aggression and guarantee the complete withdrawal of the occupation forces from the Gaza Strip,” said the official who wanted to maintain his anonymity, referring to Israel.
