Saudi Arabia has announced that it is also rejecting categorical comments by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the Palestinian displacement from their land, a statement from the Saudi Foreign Ministry said today in a statement. Israeli officials had proposed the establishment of a Palestinian state on Saudi territory. The Israeli prime minister seemed to be joking this week by responding during an interview to the channel 14 to a journalist, who by mistake said a “Saudi state” instead of a “Palestinian state” before correcting his wording. Although the announcement by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Arabia refers to the name of Netanyahu, there is no immediate reference to the comments on the creation of a Palestinian state on Saudi territory.
