One of the main protagonists of the series “Agatha Ever After” , Joe Locke (“Heartstopper”) commented on the big reveal of the Disney+ production. The series produced in conjunction with Marvel Studios gets a new chapter every Wednesday at 10pm, and launched the fifth on Wednesday (9).
Spoiler alert: The following text contains spoilers for the 5th episode of the series “Agatha Desde Semper”.
The fifth episode is marked by the revelation of the real identity of Joe Locke’s character, who had a secrecy spell, which did not allow the boy to tell who he really was. At the end of the 30-minute chapter, he reveals himself as Wiccan/Billy Maximoff, son of Scarlet Witch, Wanda Maximoff.
In the comic books, Wiccan becomes one of the most powerful wizards in the world. In a story published on his Instagram profile, Joe Locke commented on the revelation. “I’ve been holding this secret for two years.”
The next episodes should focus more on the character’s goals and connection with his mother. Before “Agatha Since Ever”, Marvel bet on “Wandavision” (2021), focusing on the Sorceress and which showed the events prior to the story of the witch Agatha.
“Agatha Desde Semper” will have 9 episodes. The latest arrives on the Disney+ streaming service on October 30th.
The production follows the sorceress Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn). She is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She was first introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) through the series “WandaVision”, also available on Disney+.
Played by Kathryn Hahn, she initially appears as Agnes, a seemingly harmless and helpful neighbor of Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen), in Westview. Throughout the series, it is revealed that Agnes is actually Agatha Harkness, a famous witch, who is the true manipulator behind the twisted events in the town.
