Relic Entertainment and World’s Edge have announced the imminent start of a new phase of beta testing of the real-time strategy game Age of Empires IV. This time everyone will be able to try the game, and the beta test will last from 17 to 20 September.
Fans can take advantage of the Xbox Insider Hub app in the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 or Steam by requesting beta access. Minimum system requirements:

- Processor: Intel Core i5-6300U or AMD Ryzen 5 2400G
- Memory: 8 GB
- Video card: Intel HD 520 or AMD Radeon RX Vega 11
- DirectX: 12
This build features the Mission Zero tutorial and multiplayer customizable lobbies against other players and AI. As for the factions, England, China, the Holy Roman Empire and the Abbasid Dynasty will be available, as well as five cards.
The development team has made several changes to the game based on feedback, including further downscaling for greater on-screen visibility, balance adjustments for English and Chinese civilizations, and bug fixes.
The final version of Age of Empires IV will be released on October 28.
