Agency stops representing Susan Sarandon after actress makes pro-Palestine comments

United Talent Agency, one of Hollywood’s top talent agencies, “no longer represents Susan Sarandon” following the actress’s comments at a pro-Palestine rally, a company spokesperson told CNN on Tuesday (21). She had been at UTA since 2014.

The Oscar-winning actress has attended at least two pro-Palestinian rallies in recent weeks in New York City.

At an event that took place on November 17, a video taken by the New York Post showed Sarandon telling the crowd: “There are a lot of people who are scared, who are scared of being Jewish right now, and are experiencing what it’s like to be Muslim. in this country.”

A CNN has reached out to Sarandon’s representatives for comment.

Concerns about anti-Semitic actions in the US have grown as the civilian death toll in the war between Israel and Hamas continues to rise and Gaza faces a humanitarian crisis.

Susaran Sarandon is known for her roles in “Thelma and Louise” , “The Last Steps of a Man” which won him an Oscar, and “Side by side” . His last appearance on the big screen was in “Blue Beetle”, from DC Comics.
