Sales of agricultural machinery, including tractors and harvesters, grew by 11.05% in May when compared to the same month last year.
The balance was released this Tuesday (5) by Fenabrave, an association that, in addition to car dealerships, represents dealers of equipment used in the field.
In total, 5,487 units were delivered to rural producers in the fifth month of the year, a decrease of 9.6% compared to April’s volume.
Unlike car sales, which can be updated daily based on daily vehicle licenses, agricultural machinery numbers need to be collected by Fenabrave with manufacturers.
Therefore, the statistics have a one-month delay in relation to the balance of car sales, whose results released today by the association are already related to June.
In the first five months of the year, sales of agricultural machinery totaled 25,685 units, up 26.6% over the same period last year.
