The National Congress approved a new provisional measure that will allow the use of Solidarity Guarantee Funds (FGS) in all financial operations linked to rural business activity, including those carried out in the capital market.
These funds act as a complementary guarantee in credit operations aimed at the rural sector, such as in the payment of bank loans.
O CNN Specialist in agribusiness Marcos Fava Neves explained that the measure “facilitates the issue of guarantee, helps to reduce bureaucracy, with the permission of digital signatures and other forms and, with that, allows more credit”.
For him, the measure comes at a good time, at a time when Brazilian agriculture needs to grow.
The matter was approved by the Senate plenary and now goes to presidential sanction.
