In Esteio, in Rio Grande do Sul, one of the main agricultural fairs in the country is taking place, Expointer, which runs until this Sunday (4th). For 45 years, the entire sector has gathered in the region to follow animal auctions, product launches, new technologies, technical events and everything that involves working in the field.
The return to face-to-face meetings promises, according to the event’s organizers, to guarantee an audience of more than 600,000 people. There are 337 exhibitors from family farming, 155 companies in the field of agricultural machinery and implements and more than 6,000 animals on display in the fair’s pavilions.
CNN Agribusiness Specialist Marcos Fava Neves commented on what the return of face-to-face events for the sector represents.
“This return of face-to-face events has been very interesting, I participated in some recently and they are always full, the important thing is. In addition to the members of the agribusiness production chains having this personal contact, we have to think about the immense volume of services that these fairs consume and move the economy”, explained the specialist.
