The crucial issue of abolishing the limits of gross income of companies and freelancers, above which there is an obligation to sign tax returns by an accountant – tax expert – holder of the relevant license to practice – raised the Presidency of the Economic Chamber of Greece, meeting with the Deputy Minister of Finance, Apostolos Vesyropoulos and the Commander of the Independent Public Revenue Authority, George Pitsilis.
Today, these limits are 50,000 euros, whether it is a commercial or joint venture, or a tradesman, who operates a commercial service company or a liberal profession.
The AIF submitted the proposal for the abolition of the limits, which was heard by Messrs. Vesyropoulos and Pitsilis, promising to examine it immediately, taking into account the relevant data, in view of the upcoming start of filing tax returns.
The meeting, on behalf of the Economic Chamber of Greece, was attended by the President, Konstantinos Kollias, the two Vice Presidents, Abraham Panidis and Stavros Traganis and the Financial Supervisor, Costas Manousos.
