Alert of spoiler: The following text contains spoilers From the last episode of Season 3 of “The White Lotus”
After the surprising and fateful end of the 3rd season of “The White Lotus” On Sunday (6), Aimee Lou Wood He shared some reflections that emphasize all the feelings that viewers will certainly have with each other and on social networks for some time.
In a cast panel immediately after the final episode, Wood – clearly thrilled after watching the episode in which his character Chelsea dies in cross -fire between his love Rick (Walton Goggins) and the hotel’s security – commented as “there was a lot of hope” in the episode despite the tragic end of his story.
“Do you know what I loved about the last episode?” Said Wood. “There was a lot of hope in him. There was a lot of smoothness.” Wood added that this feeling came from “all connections” that are made and ratified in the completion of the season, specifically among the three blond friends, as well as the Ratlic family.
“I found it incredibly non-scinum, especially for ‘The White Lotus’,” Wood said. “It was very, very, very moving.”
And yet, of course, she also addressed the emotional weight of Chelsea’s tragic ending: “Obviously, being the one who dies, all this time I was like, so sad, Mike (White) kills hope. Because Chelsea is hope, and he kills her.”
“And it’s like, yes, but then what I saw there was that there was so much love in that!” She added. “That’s why it’s much more painful, because you have to deal with everything at the same time.” Wood concluded by saying that this dichotomy “is life, isn’t it? Just love and pain all the time.”
Goggins was not present on the panel, but echoed the feelings of his romantic partner on the screen on a sincere instagram post on Sunday night, near the end of “The White Lotus”.
“Rick + Chelsea. With a heavier heart… For me, ours was a love story,” he wrote along with a beautiful carousel of photos showing the couple in the locations in Thailand. “It has always been just a love story, harmed by unresolved childhood trauma. We all have them… but we can overcome them. In the depth of our despair there is always beauty around us.”
Later on the post, Goggins thanked Wood “for being my partner… In a journey I will never forget.”
