Airlines are opposed to reducing charges that charge credit card transactions

Airlines today opposed the promoted reduction of fees that burden transactions with a Visa or Mastercard credit card, warning that it would lead to the abolition of customer reward programs that give miles that can be redeemed on flight tickets. The American Airlines, United Airlines, Southwest Airlines and other companies, including Boeing, Airbus and Ge Aerospace, report in a letter to the US Senate that the Senate Drinks and Roger Marshall to hurt tourism as a whole.
