As expected, Akasa’s catalog has been updated with the Turing A50 case, preliminary information about which appeared at the end of December. The case is designed for assembling a passive cooling system based on Asus PN50 mini-PC.
A mini PC powered by an AMD Ryzen 4000 mobile processor with a TDP of up to 25W (Ryzen 7 4800U) is located in the middle of one of the long sides of the case, and the case itself, made entirely of aluminum, acts as a heat sink. It is ribbed to increase the heat exchange area. The exterior design of the case, according to Akasa, is made in the Art Deco style.
Case dimensions are equal to 113.5 x 95 x 273.9 mm. In addition to the motherboard, it accommodates one 2.5-inch drive up to 9.5 mm thick.
The front panel has a power button, power and drive activity indicators, a hole for an IR receiver, audio and USB Type-A and USB Type-C connectors. By the way, the latter can be used to connect a monitor, since the corresponding port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. Of course, the case provides access to all the ports on the back of the mini PC’s I / O.
The manufacturer does not name the price.
