Al. Tsipras: After 9 months of uncontrolled scandal, the fearful K. Mitsotakis announces some measures

The President of SYRIZA Progressive Alliance, Alexis Tsipras, made a tour in Kavala today. During his tour of the Kavala market, he discussed with traders and consumers the unprecedented deadlocks in accuracy and electricity bills, as well as the measures after a celebration that Mr. Mitsotakis is preparing to announce due to the rapid deterioration.

At the same time, Mr. Tsipras had a meeting with employees and those fired from Kavala Fertilizers and Kavala Oils in Kapnergati Square.

After his tour, Mr. Tsipras made the following statement to the press:

“After 9 months, Mr. Mitsotakis, with his policy of leaving the filthy profit in energy uncontrolled, has looted households and businesses, today, frightened in the face of the rage and indignation of Greek society, is trying to take some measures to save whatever is saved.

For us, any measures, even the very late ones, are welcome. But even more welcome is a decision he has to make. The appeal to the popular verdict to stop this decline for the place. Greece to be a champion to be precise, to have brought knees to households and businesses, at the same time being last in wages, last in freedom of the press, last in performances that shame the country pan-European.

Here in Kavala, I want to highlight once again the need to support Greek society in every way, especially employees, low-wage earners, low-income retirees, households, small and medium-sized businesses.

Here from Kavala, which has become synonymous with labor exploitation, the labor jungle, with the thousands fired.

So on May 15 we invite the citizens to our internal processes. Actively participate and send a strong message of political change. The Mitsotakis government has been working tirelessly for three years now to make the rich richer, the middle poor and the poor poorer. This must end. The faster, the better. ”
