Alexis Tsipras called for strict measures – without any reference to obligation – for the unvaccinated police officers in his own televised message that came in response to the “speech” of the prime minister, whom he once again characterized as solely responsible for the pandemic.

In the same context, the president of SYRIZA demanded a change in the helm of the Ministry of Health and the appointment of a man with “prestige”, as he characteristically said (without this time talking about a person of common acceptance, as he had done in the first wave of the pandemic) .

He agreed, talking about the right choice regarding the expiration date of the vaccination certificate after the expiration of the seven-month period from the second dose, while he also examined Mr. Mitsotakis for relapses and “back and forth”, citing the measures for the church. “It took 1,137 dead to adopt our proposal for the churches,” Mr Tsipras said. In the meantime, however, without proceeding to another evaluation crisis, Mr. Tsipras, referring to the Prime Minister, said that he announced an Austrian-type lockdown for the unvaccinated.

Beyond that, he proposed a package of measures that must be taken here and now, it is a matter of life and death, he said, so that we do not measure other losses.

“Private clinics and military hospitals need to be ordered immediately.

And to organize a pan-army for the first dose, especially in the vulnerable age groups who, if they get sick, are more at risk.

It is not enough just to encourage citizens.

We must immediately organize mobile units in cooperation with the Primary Care and the local government, for a door-to-door information and vaccination campaign in cities, in the region and in the homes of people with mobility problems.

– It is appropriate to institute the expiry of the vaccination certificate seven months after the second dose.

However, the rhetoric about the so-called pandemic of the unvaccinated must stop immediately, because this is dangerous as it creates a climate of complacency.
