“Fertilizers have increased by 60%, raw materials by 30%, medicines by 30-60% and we do not know where we will end up,” said the president of the agricultural association, noting at the same time that they have not yet received the bill for the increased electricity.

For his part, Alexis Tsipras underlined that the problem with the huge increases is very big for both households and businesses “especially for agricultural enterprises where the agricultural costs were burdened anyway”.

That is why, as he stressed, we are shouting in Parliament for the excise tax that should be for all farmers and to see additional support measures for farmers.
