And of course we unequivocally condemn the military operations, the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, which violates the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country. And we certainly condemn which is based “, said the president of SYRIZA-PS, Alexis Tsipras during his presentation.

Referring to the role of the European Union, he said: “Unfortunately, the EU has not been able to rise to the occasion and contribute as a strong geopolitical force to this great crisis, as in the past to other crises involving violations of international law. Today “The EU must use all diplomatic means to ensure a ceasefire, Russia withdraws from Ukrainian territory and return to the path of diplomacy. And Greece must move in that direction.”

“We express our solidarity with the Ukrainian people and are very concerned about the Greek community and the Greek people living in Ukraine. The government must make every effort to support them,” he said.
