Alain Ducasse and Daniel Humm cook together in Paris and NY in February

Two of the greatest chefs on the world gastronomic scene share the kitchen for four dinners during the month of February.

Alain Ducasse master of modern French cuisine, and Daniel Humm behind Eleven Madison Park, a three-star Michelin restaurant in New York, come together to hold a eight-step tasting menu which reflects the chefs’ plant-based approach.

Right at the beginning of the month, between the 1st and 2nd, Daniel Humm crosses the Atlantic and disembarks in Paris for two dinners at Restaurant Le Meurice Alain Ducasse inside the five-star hotel Le Meurice, opposite the Jardin des Tuileries.

On the 22nd and 23rd of February, it is Ducasse's turn to land in the United States and share the tasks with Humm in the Eleven Madison Park located on Madison Avenue, New York.

All dinners focus on stages plant-based and can be harmonized with the help of a team of sommeliers. The set menu costs €440 (around R$2,374) per person without drinks and €880 (R$4,748) per person with pairings.

It is worth remembering that chef Daniel Humm, born in Switzerland, reopened Eleven Madison Park in 2021 after 15 months closed due to the pandemic with a radical change: the kitchen became completely plant-based, in which, at the time, the chef stated that the current food system is not sustainable. The restaurant was voted the best in the world in 2017 by The World's 50 Best Restaurants.

Alain Ducasse, in addition to being chef at Restaurant Le Meurice, in Paris, and Le Louis XV, in Monaco, has more than 60 addresses in seven countries on three continents, where he has accumulated more than 20 Michelin stars.
