Chaos erupted this morning at a Santa Maria, California courthouse when a man threw a bomb-like object into a courtroom, according to local website calcoastnews.com. Around 8.35, a man opened the door to the hall and started shouting that the FDA, the US Federal Food and Drug Administration, poisons 900,000 people every year. He then dropped the “bomb” and started running. The object ignited and smoke began to pour out of the open door. People started running screaming “it’s a bomb”. A lawyer, Bill Osman, who was in the courtroom, said law enforcement officers took the suspect into custody and removed him from the scene.
