Powerful firefighting forces were mobilized to bring under control the large fire at a nursery in the city of Kissimmee, Florida on USA.
The fire broke out in the morning and quickly took on large proportions, as a result of which an area of eight hectares was given over to flames.
According to a fire department spokesman, “75 firefighters with 21 vehicles are still working to bring the fire under full control”.
Videos broadcast by US media show the burning facilities and thick smoke billowing into the sky in the area.
All employees have been evacuated and no injuries have been reported.
The nursery is located 20 kilometers from the Disney World amusement park in Orlando, Florida, as relayed by the Athens News Agency.
