THE Alaska Airlines announced that it will cover all of their travel expenses employees so they can go to another US state for abortionas this right was officially banned in the country after 50 years.
According to Reuters, the company announced that, despite the Supreme Court ruling on abortions, will continue to cover travel expenses of its employees to submit to “certain medical procedures and treatments” where will not be available in the areas where they reside.
In fact, more and more companies are paying the costs of their employees who want to have access to reproductive health services if the State in which they reside prohibits them.
Alaska Airlines has already done so and said in a statement that “today’s decision of the Supreme Court” will not lead to the abolition of this practice.

THE Justin Trinto described as “horrific” the decision of the US Supreme Court that overturned the 1973 landmark decision on the right to abortion, with the Canadian Prime Minister expressing his sympathy to women who “lose their legal right to abortion”.
“The news from the United States is horrific. “My heart goes out to the millions of American women who are now going to lose their legal right to an abortion,” Trinto wrote on Twitter.
“No government, no politician or man should tell a woman what she can and cannot do with her body,” he said.
