Albert of Monaco celebrated his son Alexandre’s 20th birthday with his ex Nicole Coste

While rumors about the always controversial relationship between Prince Albert and his wife, Charlène of Monaco, that neither a holiday in Corsica nor a few days on a yacht on the Côte d’Azur were enough to cancel them, and while the princess closed her account Instagram and various media reported that he lives in Switzerland, one photo is more striking than ever: the prince’s family reunion with his ex, Nicole Coste to celebrate their son Alexander’s 20th birthday.

Just a few days ago, the young business administration student, who would like to direct his future towards fashion, gave an interview to the magazine Point de Vue in which he confessed his discomfort at being identified as the “illegitimate” son of the Monegasque ruler and threatened to sue anyone who refers to him with this label, because Alexandre Grimaldi is the fruit of Albert II’s relationship with the Togolese stewardess Nicole Coste, whom the prince met on a flight from Nice to Paris in the late 1990s , when Charlène was not yet part of his life.

As the two were not married Alexander was excluded from the Monegasque line of succession, although Prince Albert acknowledged him as a son and Princess Stéphanie was his godmother at the christening.

His parents have now gathered to accompany him on such a special day. He also attended the family reunion Jazmin Grace Grimaldi the eldest of Albert of Monaco’s four children, born of the prince’s brief relationship of a couple of weeks with the American Tamara Roll during a holiday in the south of France. The prince’s eldest children have an excellent relationship, as they themselves said: “she is my older sister and I love her as I love my two older brothers on my mother’s side,” explained Alexandre in an interview with Point de Vue.

A few months ago, Coste posted on Instagram a photo of a meeting similar to this one: his affectionate reunion in New York with Alexander and Albert of Monaco. It was the first time that a picture of the three of them – Jazmin Grace was there too – spending time together. The snapshot disappeared from the social network a little later. This time it’s not like that.
