Albert of Monaco on his children: “Jacques is calm, Gabriella has the gift of gab”

Six years celebrated last December, of Jacques and Gabriella of Munich, sons of Albert II and Charlène Wittstock, not much is known, even if the princes often meet with their parents.

The prince thought about revealing some more details about the children, talking about them to the magazine People Royals. Thus it turns out that as well as being physically different, Jacques looks a lot like his mother and, above all, her brother, Gabriella is more reminiscent of the little ones of the Grimaldi household at the same age, I am also temperamental. «Jacques is a little more shy and quiet, but he also invents very funny things. He is a great observer and loves to evaluate the situation before acting ». Gabriella, on the other hand, is quite the opposite. “She is certainly more outgoing and has the gift of gab. She loves to dance and sing, she has no problem being in front of people ».

Like many other parents, the princes of Munich are also struggling with home schooling, but luckily age helps, especially when it comes to mathematics: “They’re not doing calculations and things like that yet, that’s what I’m going to have a little trouble with!”he joked. Alberto is more at ease with geography, which his children are passionate about at the moment: “We went through an entire phase in which they wanted to know everything about the oceans, the planets and the solar system.”

At the moment, the prince stressed, the participation of children in public events and commitments is evaluated on a case-by-case basis, to give them ways to get used to what life will be like when grown-up but without particular pressures or expectations. “We don’t want to put them too much in the spotlight “, he added, “We will not go through an entire education process to explain step by step what is expected of them.”

The prince, who in a few days will celebrate 63 years, has other children, born out of wedlock and therefore not involved in the line of succession to the throne: Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, 29 years old, and Alexandre Coste, 17. With the former, who lives in America and dreams of becoming an actress, relations are excellent, with the latter the situation is more tense, also thanks to several clashes with her mother.

However, there is no certainty about a third alleged paternity which has often been talked about lately. It would be a girl born in 2004 from a short relationship between the prince and a Brazilian woman. The only one, so far, to refer to the question, albeit in a very evasive way, was Charlène Wittstock during an interview with Point de Vue: “When my husband has problems he talks about them with me. I often tell him: “QWhatever happens, I’m on your side a thousand percent. I’ll be by your side whatever you do, in good times and in difficult times “.
The family will remain united, in any case.
