Therefore, to support it, we are in an advanced stage of negotiations with two construction groups from the Netherlands, which will contribute both capital and know-how,” said the CEO. of the group, Alexandros Angelopoulos on the sidelines of the Israel-Greece conference held at the Brown Beach Corinthia Hotel.

The total number of houses is expected to range between 1,000 and 1,200, as it will depend on the area occupied by each, starting from about 80 sq.m. and reaching up to 150 sq.m.

“We will implement a green construction model, utilizing all the practices of sustainability and energy efficiency while we seek to intervene as little as possible in nature”, underlined Mr. Angelopoulos, who gives special importance in this field while its choice is not accidental. origin of the construction groups as according to him the Dutch “are among the leading in the world in terms of know-how for the construction of” green “buildings”.

Homes for medium wallets

Although according to the CEO of Aldemar, the houses will have nothing to envy in relation to more luxurious constructions, they will still be aimed at middle-income Europeans as the sale price is estimated to range between 4,000 and 4,500 euros per sq.m. ..

“The owners will be able to stay as long as they want and the rest to rent the house to others”, pointed out Mr. Angelopoulos, who decided to turn to this project as he believes that “the country’s tourism is changing and unfortunately not to the best”.

At the same time, it sees significant opportunities in internal migration and mobility in recent years within Europe, an opportunity already being exploited by other countries such as Portugal, Spain, Malta and Bulgaria.

“The legislation of 2020 that stipulates the transfer of the tax headquarters at a rate of 7% is extremely attractive to all retirees in Central Europe,” he stressed.

“Excellent deal” with the Mitsis group for the two hotels in Crete

Regarding the acquisition of the Aldemar Royal Mare and Aldemar Cretan Village hotels in the Hersonissos of Crete by the Mitsis group, he noted that this is an “excellent deal”.

“I have known Stavros Mitsis for years and we have chosen a man who has the strength and the appetite to go one step further”, commented the CEO of Aldemar, who although he did not want to reveal the exact amount of the transaction, clarified that This is a very good price for both sides.

It should be noted that the 5-star Aldemar Royal Mare has a capacity of 341 rooms and 43 suites in building complexes, while it has 29 private and shared swimming pools and professional tennis courts. The 4-star Aldemar Cretan Village has a capacity of 322 rooms and is characterized by island architecture.
