The shooting of the movie “Rust” is going to continue, since o husband of Halina Hutchins who was killed when she shot at her o Alec Baldwinreached an agreement with the producers.
In accordance with cnn.comMatthew Hutchins will executive produce the film and receive a share of the profits from “Rust,” and released a statement clarifying that he has no interest in being involved in the allegations surrounding the tragedy that occurred on Oct. 21 when Baldwin was holding the gun that killed the 42-year-old filmmaker.
Here is Matthew Hutchins’ statement:
“We have reached a settlement, subject to court approval, in the wrongful death case against the producers of ‘Rust’, including Alec Baldwin, Rust Movie Productions and LLC. As part of this settlement, our case will be dismissed. “Rust,” which I will now executive produce, will resume filming with all the original main characters in January 2023. I’m not at all interested in getting involved in accusations or assigning blame (to the producers or Mr. Baldwin). All we believe Halina’s death was a terrible accident. I’m grateful that producers and the entertainment community came together to pay tribute to her latest work.”
