Alert in Philadelphia: Shootings at Ramadan Event – Reports of Injured

The alarm was sounded in Philadelphia after a shooting occurred at a Ramadan event, leaving several people injured, according to reports. The incident unfolded around 2:30 p.m. near the Philadelphia Masjid and Sister Clara Muhammad School, FOX 29 reported. More than 1,000 people — including families with children — were believed to be at the event marking the end of Ramadan. Parents who may have been separated from their children during the chaos were given a location to reunite with their loved ones. Authorities “made several arrests and at least 4 weapons were found” at the scene. At least one Philadelphia police officer fired his weapon, the same sources said. Two people are hospitalized.
