Alert the island of Flores in Indonesia due to the eruption of the volcano levotobi Laki-Llaki

Indonesia increased to the highest grade the alarm level for Mount Levotobi Laki-Lla, after exploding eight times last weekend, the country’s volcanic service said today. Levotobi Laki-Llakas, located on the island of Flores, East Indonesia, launched volcanic ash at a height of 3 to 5.5 kilometers on Sunday, said Mohammad Wafid, the head of the service, in a late night announcement. “Our analysis has shown that the activity of the terms remains high and therefore we have increased the alarm level,” he noted. The images released by the service show dense gray ash clouds to be emitted by the crater. At the time of the explosion a buzz was heard at the nearest surveillance station. This morning, the volcano exploded again, launching ash to a height of 1.2 kilometers.
