Twenty-six years of career and not hearing them: you could say that Sarah Burton has spent just over a quarter of a century within the fashion houseshaping a distinctive and recognizable aesthetic, always respectful of the past and the legacy of its predecessor.

In 2011, after less than a year at the helm of the fashion house, Sarah Burton was Kate Middleton’s choice for the dress for the royal wedding with Prince William: a custom-made creation that has gone down in history as one of the most famous wedding dresses ever. As Buckingham Palace announced, the current Princess of Wales chose the English brand “for the beauty of her savoir-faire, for the respect for traditional artisan tailoring and the technical construction of the clothes”.
