Alexandre Correa denies aggression and says videos with Ana were staged

Alexandre Correa gave an exclusive interview on Wednesday night (29) to detail the episode with Ana Hickmann. He denied physical aggression, but said there was verbal aggression. Furthermore, he stated that the videos that Ana published with him were “rehearsed”.

On Chupim, a program on Metropolitana FM, Alexandre appeared to give his version of Ana Hickmann’s statements. The presenter accuses him of assault, which allegedly happened on November 11th.

“This term aggression is very broad. We were at the end of lunch, Ana discussed a topic with Alexandre and he started crying compulsively, in a way he had never cried before. That left me dismayed so I left. After a while I came back and a more heated discussion began. I asked Alexandre to take the iPad and leave. He went out and was about 70, 80 meters away and then the argument began”, began Alexandre.

“The discussion heated up until we went out to a barbecue area, she talked about calling the police and I went into a tailspin. I was completely desperate.

Alexandre then denies that what happened was aggression on his part, and emphasized that the attempted headbutt, as previously reported by the presenter, never existed.

“Two employees picked up Alexandre and took him to an inside room. The argument continued, she went to call 190 and went through a door. As she went to the door and closed it, I grabbed the door by the foot and the latch hit her arm. I saw that she hurt her arm, but she closed the door so she could call the police. I didn’t want her to call the police, because there was no need. There was no aggression! I never tried to headbutt Ana Hickmann!”, she explained.

“Yes, was the discussion tense? He was. Were strong words used? They were. Were there exchanges of accusations? Yes, there was. But I have never, never, neither Ana nor any woman, touched a woman. In this sense of trying to physically attack a woman,” she added.

Staged videos

At another point in the interview, Alexandre Correa spoke about the videos that went viral in recent days, in which he appears to be rude to Ana Hickmann. According to him, everything would be staged and that off camera, he was not disrespectful towards the woman.

“Everything was rehearsed: ‘You’re going to complain, and I’m going to act like a poor thing,” he said. He also cited the video in which he appeared scolding his ex-wife for adopting a dog.

“The dog came at me, but didn’t bite me. If I didn’t like him? Where did you get that conclusion from? They took countless YouTube videos and used them against me. It’s cowardice and premeditation,” she emphasized.

Ana Hickmann even asked for a divorce from Alexandre under the Maria da Penha Law, but the request was reportedly denied by the São Paulo Court.

Following the Public Prosecutor’s Office’s statement, the judge responsible for the decision ordered the immediate referral of the case to a Family Court. A CNN had access to the decision, which is confidential.

Ana Hickmann spoke about the matter in a video published on Instagram. “Whatever way it has to happen, it will happen. My divorce will happen, and all the truths that need to come out will be posted here for everyone. Just like I said, the day I was ready to open my heart,” she said.

The allegation of assault

The presenter registered a police report for aggression against the businessman on the 11th.

She told the police that she was at the family home in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo, talking to her 10-year-old son, when Correa heard it and didn’t like the subject. Therefore, an argument began. The child, frightened, would have run out of the room.

According to the former model, Correa pushed her against the wall and threatened to headbutt her. According to police records, Correa closed the kitchen door and hit Hickmann. The military police were called and the presenter had to seek medical help due to the injury to her arm.
