Alexandre Correa says that Ana Hickmann was drunk on the day of the fight

Businessman Alexandre Correa, Ana Hickmann’s ex-husband, accused the presenter of omitting the fact that she was drunk during the couple’s fight, earlier this month.

In an interview with Quem, Alexandre said that Ana Hickmann drank a bottle of wine alone on a very hot day and became aggressive because of the drink. According to him, this had been standard behavior for the presenter.

“It was almost 40°C, with a thermal sensation of 43°C. And Ana, at lunch, had already drunk almost a bottle of red wine”, he said.

“And Ana, every time she drinks alcohol recently, has become extremely aggressive towards me in front of everyone.”

Alexandre denied having threatened to headbutt his then wife and claimed to have become desperate when Ana threatened to call the police.

“What happened was an argument, in which she adopted an extremely aggressive, coercive profile, with words that absolutely threw me in the trash, as she usually did in discussions, and what happened was that she threatened to call, said that I was going to call the police. Obviously I was desperate because no one can be normal in a situation like that,” she told Quem.

The businessman also says that the presenter would have gone to a birthday party on November 12, one day after the alleged attacks.

According to him, the fact that Ana attended the event, which was recorded in a carousel of photos on her sister’s Instagram, weakens the thesis that he had attacked the presenter.

“What we have there is a total inconsistency of facts. If I had attacked her — which I didn’t do — and she was hurt and traumatized, she wouldn’t be at a birthday party dancing and having fun. She was inside the house, cornered and medicated,” said Alexandre.

In the interview, the businessman also revealed that he intends to leave the country and said that his priority, at the moment, is to speed up the divorce process so that he can see his nine-year-old son again.

According to him, Ana Hickmann has a protective measure that prevents him from getting close not only to her, but also to her friends and family.

Alexandre says he hasn’t seen his son since the day of the fight and is trying to reverse the situation with a lawsuit filed by his lawyer. He intends to sue the presenter for parental alienation and file a habeas corpus request to try to nullify the protective measure and guarantee her right to come and go.

“I am completely blocked and prevented from everything and everyone,” he said. “She just became Queen Elizabeth, took over everything and pushed me away like I was a damned worm.”

Remember the Ana Hickmann case

The presenter filed a police report for aggression against her ex-husband, Alexandre Correa, at the family home in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo.

She told police that she was talking to her 10-year-old son in the kitchen when Correa heard it and didn’t like the subject. So he started an argument. The child, frightened, would have run out of the room, according to Hickmann.

Correa allegedly pushed his wife against the wall and threatened to headbutt her, according to information contained in the police report. He denied the accusations on social media.

During the argument, Correa closed the kitchen door, hitting Hickmann, according to the report. She used the situation to lock her husband out of the room and call the Military Police, but Correa was no longer there when the agents arrived.
