Alexia surprise to celebrate GMDP Design for Life and its ten years of concrete projects in support of cancer patients

An important anniversary, that ofAssociation born in 2015 in memory of Giuseppe Marco Di Paolo, and dedicated to bringing beauty to the departments and hospital Italians, especially for adult and pediatric cancer patients. Concrete interventions-Wi-Fi, tablets, music, gardens, yoga-which arise from the voluntary work of members and supporters and who in ten years have turned on dozens of small large lights where there is a need for relief.

The evening, with a symbolic title “Ten Sparks in the night”, wanted to celebrate these sparks on over time, through a gala dinner for the stars donors followed by an after party also reserved for the spark donors. Over the course of these ten years, GMDP has built a network of projects throughout Italy, acting discreetly but with great effectiveness. During 2020, a Pet Therapy project was started at Lodi’s Hospice, while a green area dedicated to the little ones was created at the Papa Giovanni XXIII hospital in Bergamo. In 2022 the Association promoted a project of linguistic enhancement for young people with communication disabilities at the House of Lights in Milan. In 2023 he contributed to the redevelopment of the Pediatric Day Hospital of the San Matteo Polyclinic of Pavia and the Outdoor area Agorà at the Meyer hospital in Florence. Finally, in 2024, the commitment returned to the CRO of Aviano with the donation of trolleys for meals and anti -decubito cushions.
