Alfredo Adame may not be an ambassador for the LGBT March; they call him homophobic

A few days ago, Alfredo Adame was invited by the Gay Pride LGBTTTIQ Committee of Mexico City to be an ambassador in the next Gay Pride March, which takes place every year during the month of June.

This invitation has caused controversy on social networks, as members of the community have shown their refusal towards the driver, who is accused of homophobic and sexist due to comments he made in the past against the community and the little support given to his own son Sebastián Adame, to whom he turned his back after he came out of the closet.

Sebastián Adame, son of the also actor, was disappointed to learn of his father’s participation in the next Pride March, since on more than one occasion he has publicly criticized his sexual orientation, reaching the point of contempt.

Luis González also expressed his disagreement and even made a thread on Twitter showing Adame’s homophobic behavior.

A violent and homophobic man, even with his own son, with whom he still has no relationship after coming out of the closet. That’s the icon they decided would represent the community this year.

At the moment, none of the organizers have given an answer to what happened and the reason why Adame should participate in the next event has not been clarified either. However, the driver has already defended himself and said that he has always respected the sexuality of people, including his son Sebastián, to whom he has always given his full support.

We are all human beings and children of God. When my son Sebastián, at 7:00 pm, spoke to me and said: ‘Dad, can I go see you? Dad I’m homosexual’, two tears came to my eyes, I got out of bed and told him: ‘I love you, I respect you, I adore you and the first one who disrespects you I’ll break the mother’.
