An MP in the majority in Algeria prosecuted for trying to pass one “Powder” to his daughter who gave examination to pass high school and enter high school, as reported by many local media.
According to the court of the city of El Weed, in the province of El Meyer, National Liberation Front (FLN) MP and local police chief detained for attempted fraud in high school diploma examinations (BEM) and “abuse of power”.
MP Abdenasser Arjun instructed the police chief to hand over to his daughter a file containing the answers to the math lesson. However, the supervising professor realized the attempted fraud and filed a lawsuit against both of them.
The Algerian Constitution stipulates that Members of Parliament have immunity only for activities related to their office.
