Mohammed Lachdar Hamina, a director and producer from Algeria, passed away on Friday at the age of 95, as his family made known. He was the only Arab and African creator to be honored with a prize at the Cannes Festival. Lachdar Hamina left his last breath at his home in Algiers, as his children announced.
