Algorand blockchain developers to invest in Indian crypto startups

The company that developed the Algorand blockchain intends to develop the cryptocurrency industry in India by investing in educational projects and new market players.

Blockchain Platform Foundation Algorand announced agreements with several partners in India and collaboration with schools to develop educational programs that will help the development of Web3 in the country.

The platform team is collaborating with the Jawaharlal Nehru University of Technology in Hyderabad and the Indian School of Business to launch new educational programs. Among them: advanced training of users and training of student developers. The company also intends to regularly hold master classes for representatives of legal entities who want to join the crypto industry.

“We are committed to expanding our operations in India and globally to drive planet-changing solutions to improve access to financial services, education and healthcare,” said Anil Kakani, head of Algorand India.

Algorand intends to invest in Indian cryptocurrency startups – for this, the company is collaborating with the T-Hub innovation center. Startups are promised help in accessing capital from around the world and the ability to scale projects.

Earlier, the Bank of Italy, together with the Research Center for Technology, Innovation and Finance of the Catholic University of Milan (CETIF), launched the development of an open platform “Digital guarantees” on the Algorand blockchain.
