The Russian AliExpress team announced the launch of a new convenient service for customers – Mobile ID.

The Mobile ID service, implemented with the help of MegaFon’s solution, simplifies the registration of foreign orders using the function of automatically filling out the customs questionnaire.
As the press service notes, at the moment, the marketplace presents goods from more than 350 thousand sellers, including 275 thousand foreign ones. To receive foreign parcels at the points of issue, the buyer must fill in the data for customs clearance of the order.
With “Mobile ID” you do not need to remember and enter this information manually, the service will offer to download all the data automatically, the user will need to enter his phone number and follow the instructions.
It is interesting that not only MegaFon subscribers can use the data auto-fill function, but also other operators. As promises “MegaFon”, the transfer of information is carried out with the consent of the client in an encoded format, which can only be decrypted by the individual key of the SIM card, which eliminates fraudulent transactions and guarantees the user the confidentiality of his data.
In addition to the AliExpress Russia application, Mobile ID is already used in MegaFon’s services, in third-party online stores, banks and other online platforms, as well as to connect to Wi-Fi at Sheremetyevo Airport.
