Good news for Army BTS: all seven members of the South Korean boy band have renewed contracts.
RM, Jung Kook, V, Jimin, Suga, Jin and J-Hope will continue to be part of BIGHIT MUSIC, according to a statement from entertainment conglomerate HYBE, to the “Soompi” website.
“The board of directors concluded [sua decisão] regarding the renewal of the exclusive contracts of all seven members of BIGHIT MUSIC artist BTS,” HYBE said in a statement.
This is the second time that members have made this decision. According to “Soompi”, after debuting in June 2013, the seven members of BTS renewed with BIGHIT MUSIC in October 2018 — more than a year before their contracts expired.
The website reminds us that this means that the band will continue together after all members complete their mandatory military service, around 2025.
Shortly after the announcement, RM posted two stories celebrating the renewal: one with a photo of his contract and the other with a message for the Army.
