All Stellantis vehicles in Europe will be fully electric by 2030

The multinational corporation Stellantis, formed last year as a result of the merger of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Groupe PSA, has shared plans to electrify the lineup of all its brands. She, like most automakers with a worldwide reputation, headed for the production of electric vehicles.

Stellantis has announced an ambitious Dare Forward 2030 plan that will see extensive electrification across all of the company’s brands. As part of the new plan, the company plans to remove all ICE models from its range for the European market by 2030. In other words, by the beginning of the next decade, all cars produced by the Stellantis brands for Europe will be fully electric. But in relation to the American market, not everything is so drastic. The company’s goal for the US is to achieve a 50/50 ratio between ICE cars and electric cars by 2030.

It is important to note that when talking about the electrification of the model range, Stellantis has in mind only passenger cars. This wording excludes commercial vehicles and large pickup trucks, which will continue to be equipped with gasoline and diesel engines, such as the RAM 3500, after 2030.

But that’s not all. By 2030, Stellantis plans to achieve a 50 percent reduction in carbon emissions into the atmosphere, and by 2038 become a fully carbon neutral company, that is, achieve zero emissions.
