All-wheel drive Exeed LX was brought to Russia: a new turbo engine, 6 driving modes and an expanded set of driver assistance systems

A new modification of the increasingly popular Chinese crossover Exeed LX was brought to Russia. The model for the Russian market has finally received an all-wheel drive version, sales of which will start before the end of 2022.

The new modification of the Exeed LX differs from the previously presented front-wheel drive version not only in the type of drive, but also in the motor, as well as new options. The Exeed LX with four-wheel drive has a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 150 horsepower and 275 Nm of torque under the hood. The engine is accompanied by a 7DCT 300 preselective robotic gearbox. This combination allows the all-wheel drive crossover to accelerate to “hundreds” in 10.2 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds faster when compared with the front-wheel drive version.

Externally, the all-wheel drive modification of the Exeed LX can be distinguished by 19-inch wheels and red brakes. In addition, two new shades appeared in the body colors – bright red and muted blue.

The changes don’t end there. The new version of the Exeed LX with all-wheel drive also received six driving modes – from the standard “Eco”, “Sport” and “Comfort” to the off-road “Snow”, “Ground” and “4×4”. In addition, a wide range of driver assistance systems will be offered, including adaptive cruise control and an intelligent collision avoidance system with recognition of pedestrians, cyclists and other vehicles.

The all-wheel drive Exeed LX is scheduled to go on sale on December 15th. Prices will be announced closer to this time. But now buyers can pre-order the new crossover from official Exeed dealers across the country.
