A Scottish lawyer named Fiona Harvey claims to be the stalker portrayed as the character Martha in the series “Baby Reindeer “. Harvey went public to “reveal his identity” and gave an interview exactly to address the series.
“Baby Rena” is a series based on real events that were experienced by Richard Gadd , who wrote the script and stars in the production. In the Netflix series, he is kind to a woman and she then becomes obsessed with him. Gadd has been stalked for years by a woman who sent him more than 41,071 emails, 350 hours of voicemails, 106 pages of letters, 744 tweets and 46 Facebook messages.
What marked the production is that the plot and outcome of the story are inspired by the real and personal story of the protagonist.
In the series, the woman in question is given the fictitious name Martha Scott. Now, Fiona Harvey claims that she is the woman identified as a stalker – saying that the events portrayed are “exaggerated”.
The newspaper DailyMail had already disclosed that the woman – who then wanted to remain anonymous – was considering going to court for defamation against Gadd and Netflix.
Now, in addition to exposing her face and name, Fiona Harvey gave an interview to the presenter Piers Morgan to comment on the series, Richard Gadd and his version of events.

In an article published in the newspaper Daily Report, Harvey says she was paid to give the interview. According to the Scottish woman, she received £250 (about R$1,611) for the 30-minute interview.
The recording of Fiona Harvey's interview with Piers Morgan will be broadcast on the presenter's channel on Youtube this Thursday (09), at 4pm Brasília time.
