Almost 1,800 health workers in SP are on leave due to respiratory diseases

The Health Department of São Paulo reported, this Friday (7), that 1,754 servers in the state hospital network were removed with confirmation or suspicion of Covid-19 and other Severe Acute Respiratory Syndromes (SRAG).

“Following the teams’ assistance and safety protocol, any professional suspected of having the disease is temporarily, preventively and promptly removed, to recover their health and prevent others”, declared the folder in a note to CNN.

According to the government of São Paulo, there is no harm in serving the population, since the folder “has guaranteed assistance and strengthened state health services”.

“Hospital services continue to be performed normally, respecting all health protocols”, explains Hospital das Clínicas.
