Alok promises to take “pyrotechnic version” of the coachella pro pacaembu show

DJ Alok, 33, will perform a “Aurea” Turne show at the Mercado Livre Pacaembu Arena, located in the west of the city of São Paulo, on June 28th.

The artist’s idea is to bring to the audience a pyrotechnic version of the shows he presented at Coachella, as the limitations of the Sahara Tent stage, where he performed, prevented the presence of characteristic elements of their performances, such as pyramid and drones.

The Goian wants to combine his strengths with the innovation he brought to the American festival, considered the most important of world music. There, he brought to the stage dancers trained by Urban Theory who replaced the big screens and created a human interactive panel.

For the unprecedented character, the presentation is still being developed by the artist, as he revealed during a press conference.

“This will be a show unlike anything, including for us. There is the part of Coachella, but there is a whole new part of dancers, integrated with lasers and drones. The proposal of the stage dynamics is very different from anything I have ever done,” he explained.

Tickets for Alok’s show at Pacaembu at INGRESS OFFICE SITE. Entries range from R $ 70 (half-price from the central stands) to R $ 900 (full of the Open Bar box), with 30% discount with customers from Banco do Brasil.

Manifesto “Keep Human Art”

Following the success of the partnership with Urban Theory, Alok launched a manifesto that criticizes the unbridled use of Artificial Intelligence (IA) and defends the importance of human action behind technology in the arts.

In the manifesto, Alok explains that AI should be seen as an ally of artists, not replacing their talent. He also wants to draw attention to the regulatory limits and the safety around this type of technology.

“For you to do art, you need a soul. It doesn’t treat technology as an enemy, but as an ally. It’s a moment of resistance, to position yourself, we, artists, have to maintain culture. There is no debate about AI safety. Neither who invented you know the consequences, when you start to reach my area, my culture, I have to position me, try to integrate and not take our place. Programmed, creation is guided by humans, ”he said.

Keep Art Human

Art is the expression of the soul.
Between the noise and the silence of the machines, she reminds us that we still cry, still We dreamed, we still danced.

The soul is unique, uncontrollable, unpredictable.
It has no form, no code and does not depend on updates.
It is the tremor of the hand that creates, the accelerated heart that expresses itself, the veins that pulse with the urgency of telling stories.
No artificial intelligence can completely capture the emotion that guides the Trace of a brush, the movement of a dance, the error of an attempt.

Keep Art Human It is an invitation to celebrate the art of living, and shows that life is not a Algorithm, it is a representation of ourselves – imperfect, contradictory, human.

Alok and Urban Theory raise a manifesto in the midst of lights and movements, amplifying voices of those who still believe in art as an act of existence.

Keep Art Human Do not reject technology: values the soul behind creation, enhancing our actions.
Drones, lights and digital tools are amazing instruments to delight people, provided they are guided by human emotion, and not by artificial intelligences or any Other synthetic reproductions of our creative sensitivity.
These resources unite not to overshadow art, but to illuminate it, making the Technology an ally, not a substitute.
This is our living manifesto: the revolution is not digital, it is human.

As long as there is soul, there will be art. And where there is art, there will be humanity to tell your own story.

Keep Art Human It is a reflection on an unquestionable truth: if there is something to be Copyed is because it was once lived.
