Alphabet Holding has published its report for the second quarter of 2021. Revenue for the reporting period was $ 61.880 billion. In annual terms, this indicator increased by 62% (if we take into account the change in the exchange rate – by 57%).
Operating income for the year rose from $ 6.383 billion to $ 19.361 billion, and operating margin increased from 17% to 31%. During the quarter, the holding received $ 18.525 billion in net profit. A year ago, this figure was equal to $ 6.959 billion.

As you know, the largest company in the holding is Google. For the quarter, it brought the holding $ 57.067 billion. Of these, $ 50.444 billion is accounted for by advertising: $ 35.845 billion – in the search service, $ 7.002 billion – on YouTube, $ 7.597 billion – on the Google Network. Another $ 6.623 billion came from other Google divisions, and $ 4.628 billion came from Google Cloud. All other members of the holding raised $ 192 million. At the same time, the operating profit of Google services amounted to $ 22.343 billion, operating losses of $ 591 million are associated with the activities of Google Cloud, and operating losses of $ 1.398 billion are associated with the activities of all other members of the holding.
