Alphacool has added a waterblock to the Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX series for use with Gigabyte Radeon RX 6800XT and 6900XT Gaming OC graphics cards. Like other models in the series, the base of the waterblock is made of copper and nickel-plated, and the cover material is transparent acrylic plastic. In the description, the manufacturer notes that the thickness of the base has been reduced compared to the previous generation models from 7 to 5.5 mm. In addition, the shape of the channels through which the coolant moves is optimized in terms of the efficiency of heat removal not only from the GPU, but from other “hot” components – memory chips and voltage regulators. To increase the surface area involved in heat transfer, on the inner side of the base opposite the GPU, there are 0.6 mm wide ribs that form an array of microchannels. The waterblock has four G1 / 4 “ports and is decorated with addressable lighting.

The manufacturer has rated the 281.5 x 130.5 x 24.5 mm waterblock at 135 euros. The scope of delivery includes a black aluminum plate measuring 281.5 x 106 x 6 mm, which attaches to the back of the PCB and distributes thermal and mechanical loads.
