2021 was a milestone year for ALUMIL. The historically high levels of turnover of the Group (estimate: € 315.0 million, increased by € 74 million compared to 2020, ie 30%), demonstrated the ability of ALUMYL to cope with any situation, with a plan, faith and a lot of work.
Fully responding to the demands of the time, the growing demand of its branded products for architectural uses, as well as the significant increase of its clientele abroad and the opening of new markets, ALUMIL decided to reopen the production unit in Xanthi, which its productive action in 2013.
This is an important development decision, which strengthens the business footprint, creates hundreds of new jobs and contributes to the regional development of Thrace.
The Xanthi unit, which during its operation produced 14,000t aluminum profiles per year, is expected to be put into operation next April, as the construction and technical modernization works are in full swing.
