The Court of Auditors of Amazonas (TCE-AM) issued an alert on Monday (7) for state and municipal managers to adopt measures against violence in schools. Through its External Control Secretariat (Secex) and the Department of Audit in Education (DEAE), the agency tries to ensure more security for students, teachers, servants and also protect public assets.
According to a document released in the Court’s Official Official Gazette, the alert reinforces actions to combat danger situations in schools and help prepare students and employees to deal with emergencies.
The organ also calls for inclusion, in the curriculum bars, of topics on the Fight violence with campaigns Educational, guidance on bullying, abuse and neglect, as well as creating clear ways to react to these cases.
The joint work of the areas of health, social assistance and public safety of the state was also made for this warning.
In the warning note, the Court warns that non -compliance with these guidelines may lead to the responsibility of managers, according to current legislation, and that each school must have a security plan and response to threats. The ECA recommends that the municipalities follow the same orientation.
