Huami, a well-known contract manufacturer of Xiaomi Mi Band fitness bracelets, has started selling new smartwatches under its own brand – Amazfit GTR 2 eSIM.
This is an improved version of last year’s Amazfit GTR 2. Now the watch has received an eSIM and is able to work as a means of communication, without being tied to a smartphone. The fourth generation 4G cellular communication is supported, including receiving and making calls, sending and receiving SMS.
Amazfit GTR 2 eSIM is already available in China. Early buyers will get an hour at a discounted price of $ 290, and then it rises to $ 305.
mazfit GTR 2 eSIM received a 1.39-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels, BioTracker 2 PPG sensor, GPS and GLONASS, NFC. They support 90 sports modes, continuously monitor heart rate, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), sleep periods and quality, and so on. The manufacturer promises up to 96 hours of battery life in “normal” mode and up to 14 days in simple watch mode.
