Unmanned aerial vehicles are often becoming a tool for people and companies who want to bring public attention to their products. Hyundai’s Genesis brand has decided to celebrate its entry into the Chinese market with a grand show.
Genesis set the Guinness World Record for the most drones in the air, using 3,281 drones to display its logo and other imagery in Shanghai on March 29.

The previous record was set by Shenzhen Damoda Intelligent Control Technology in September 2020, when 3,051 drones took to the skies at the same time. This made it possible to break the record set a few days earlier, when 2,200 drones were launched in Russia at once.
Drone shows like this are usually based on the fact that drones use software to line up specific shapes and logos, moving along an accurate route and avoiding collisions.
