Amazon announced this week the opening of 5,500 vacancies in Brazil during the months of November and December to meet the high demand for online shopping on Black Friday and at end-of-year events.
The retailer expects to generate 3,100 jobs in São Paulo, 700 in Rio de Janeiro, 660 in Rio Grande do Sul, 370 in Minas Gerais, 370 Pernambuco, 200 in Ceará and 100 in the Federal District.
The idea is that vacancies are filled equally between men and women.
“We have numerous associates who started in Amazon and its partners’ operations in temporary positions during Black Friday and who had permanent contracts and professional development”, says Fabiano Arroyo, HR director at Amazon in Brazil.
To apply, you must have completed high school and be interested in working with online sales. The professional does not need to have experience in the area.
“Temporary work serves as an entry point for thousands who have no previous experience or who are leaving high school and looking to develop professionally in a company,” adds Arroyo.
Entries can be made through this link published until the 16th of November. The company did not disclose the average salary of the vacancies.
