E-commerce giant Amazon.com has denied media reports that it intends to start accepting payments in Bitcoin before the end of the year.
Following a recent publication in the London City AM newspaper citing an unnamed “insider”, the most famous cryptocurrency has grown significantly. Later, its cost decreased slightly and at the time of this writing is $ 37,678 per unit.

“Despite our interest in this area, the speculation that has arisen around our specific plans for cryptocurrencies is not true,” said an Amazon spokesman.
“We are still focused on what this might look like for customers shopping on Amazon,” he continued.
The number of companies accepting virtual currencies for payment is gradually growing, making them more commonplace. Tesla CEO Elon Musk said last week that the electric car maker is likely to resume its previously discontinued acceptance of Bitcoin.
