Amazon Prime Student: how it works and how much the service costs for students

Among the various services offered by Amazon, perhaps not everyone knows about Prime Student. In fact, the American giant allows students to access Prime, with all the associated benefits, including the possibility of accessing dedicated offers during Prime Days which will take place on 11 and 12 July 2023. And they will be able to do so completely free of charge, just follow our advice.

What is Prime Student

For some time now, Amazon has been allowing university students to subscribe to Prime Student. A service that does not differ from the classic Amazon Prime but which, to meet the limited budget of off-site customers, has a 50% discounted price.

Despite the low price, in addition to fast deliveries on thousands of products, the subscription to the service is also included Amazon Video, Amazon Gaming and Amazon Music.

How much does it cost to join Prime Student?

It’s always the right time to talk about money, especially when you can save money. First Student costs €24.95, as already mentioned, 50% of the traditional subscription which amounts to 49.99 euros per year. Same thing for those who prefer to pay monthly installment is halved going from 4.99 to 2.49 euros.

Furthermore, just to make it easier for students, Prime Student allows you to take advantage of a 90-day trial, i.e. 3 months, totally free before starting to pay for the subscription (both annual and monthly).

The only differences between the service dedicated to students and the standard one concern the cost and the trial period. As already mentioned, the service for students has a reduced price of 24.99 euroswhile the classic one is 49.99 euros per year.
